The word "JAMNAGAR", by Gods grace and our hard work since the year 1971, has an overwhelming goodwill. It has more or less become our face, our voice and our identity in the society. The firm has always stand strong in both the times of boom and recession for its customers and employees, making us far more superior from other transport organisations in our field.
Before Jamnagar transport co was set up
It all started with one truck bought by Shri Ranchoddass Bhadra around the time India got independence. New journey started of transporting essentials between Jamnagar city and small towns of Lalpur, Bhanwad and Jamjodhpur. With one truck not being enough to feed all the mouths in the family and kids growing fast, with help of older two sons namely Shri Mansukhbhai Bhadra and Shri Ramniklal Bhadra the fleet was increased to two and gradually till 1969 to four trucks.
Now with more family members joining in to support and wings spreading far and calling of the big city the first step was taken towards Ahmedabad ( A booming metropolitan city and also known as the Manchester of the east).
Setting up of the firm Jamnagar Transport Co on 11th march, 1971
The first step towards growth was taken then, by opening a branch office in AHEMDABAD with help and support of younger two sons of Shri Ranchoddass Bhadra namely Shri Navinchandra Bhadra and Shri Jagdishbhai Bhadra.
The first branch was opened at Kalupur grain market area of the city of Ahmedabad and it started operations on 11th march , 1971. From there onwards it was never looking back. The four brothers spent many sleep less night to grow the company in notably all the big and small cities of the state of Gujarat.
Present day (2020)
Times change for good. So do peoples journey. With ups and down the clan of four brothers chartered their different ways in the year 1998 and then again in the year 2008. Today the company is being managed by the safe hands of Kalpesh Bhadra and Sagar Bhadra, sons of Shri Navinchandra Bhadra.
